Does it work for YouTube Shorts?
Yes. Shorts links (youtube.com/shorts/…) work exactly the same way.
Why is the download slow for long videos?
The server prepares the file before sending it. Long 1080p videos can take a minute; videos longer than 60 minutes are not supported.
Is downloading YouTube videos allowed?
Download only videos you own, videos with a Creative Commons licence, or where the creator allows it. Respect YouTube's terms and copyright.
